This event at the Plattduetsche Park Restaurant & Catering pairs some of the world's best beers with an authentic Biergarten atmosphere for a beer tasting event unlike any other on Long Island.
Stroll under the trees with the sound of live traditional German and modern music by the Kappelle Fellas as you sample award-winning brews from both local and international breweries
Session I - 12:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. (doors open at 12:00 p.m.)
Session II - 6:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. (doors open at 5:30 p.m.)
Although this event is expected to sell out quickly, everyone who purchases a ticket will be admitted. No tickets will be sold once the event sells out. With over two acres of space, the Biergarten at the Plattduetsche Park Restaurant & Catering can comfortably handle thousands of people. However, we are limiting the number of tickets to ensure that everyone who purchases a ticket will be able to move easily throughout the Biergarten and have the opportunity to sample the beers they want.
Water and authentic German cuisine such as bratwurst and German potato salad along with more continental choices will be available for purchase. Picnic tables are available to sit and eat or relax. There will also be special guests, entertainment and of course, great beer. Kick off your summer the right way by attending the Plattduetsche Park Beer Tasting Festival. We will continually update participating breweries and the list of beers to sample, so please check back often. You can also sign up for our VIP mailing list to receive a monthly e-newsletter that will include up-to-the-minute information on this event and others at the Plattduetsche.
